The bentgrass greens are notably large and fast, surrounded by strategically-placed sand traps and contoured mounds that reward accuracy and thoughtful play. The lush tee boxes are wide and long, providing numerous tee placements to suit golfers of varying skill levels. The course design takes full advantage of its spectacular natural setting, with water hazards including the Great Garnish Barsway bordering five holes around the perimeter and ponds and marshland coming into play on additional holes.
