Many other footpaths and bridleways are also close by to tempt you into the countryside. Clent Hills itself includes 440 acres of woodland and heathland managed by the National Trust. The hills offer panoramic views as far as the Cotswolds and the Welsh borders and are a haven for bird watchers. There is a wheelchair-accessible trail to the top. The city of Birmingham is easily reached using the Metro Park and Ride a few miles from site. Visit its famous Bullring shopping centre, Thinktank science museum, the Sea Life Centre and much more. Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is at the heart of the city and tells the story of 400,000 years of history. The Black Country Living Museum in Dudley has 26 acres of living history to explore.Chocolate lovers will enjoy Cadbury World in Bournville, in an area developed by the Cadbury family for its workers. The Severn Valley Railway runs steam trains through 16 miles of beautiful countryside from Kidderminster to Bridgenorth. The West Midland Safari Park is home to white lions, elephants and tigers and has a wallaby reserve as well as an area of rides.The village of Romsley is less than a mile from the campsite. It has a general store, Post Office and two pubs, both serving food.Memorial Site: Thomas Hiram Holding founded our Club.
