This beach has a big tidal range due to its shallow angle and regularly throws up 4 to 5ft waves. As is usual for beaches on the lizard peninsular, Kennack sands also as its own shipwreck story. In 1914 the 100 tonne the Normand of Nantes, in France ran a ground here. The remains of this and other vessels can be seen from Kennack Sands on especially low tide.Camping & TouringThe size and shape of your camper, motor home or touring caravan makes no difference, we can accommodate any type of tent or unit.Our pitches are more than generous enough to fit your unit, awning, car and trailer. Remember we do not charge for awnings or gazebos or pup tents and trailersSo if you are a creature of comfort or camping purist, our varied pitches provide the ideal space for an enjoyable holiday with fantastic nearby country and sea views. We are a park that suits all age groups and we are happy to accept large groups and under 18`s.
