About this campground
This property is a 6-acre working family farm including a vineyard, orchard, apiary, gardens, greenhouse, and authentic wood-fired "Cob" clay oven. It offers a winning combination of being well off the main road for privacy and quiet, but less than 10 minutes by car from the main port town and 5 minutes from the airport. The farm is flanked by 230 acres of conservation land to the west and enjoys sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean, striking sunsets, and wondrous stargazing. The Ocean-View Saltbox is situated in a quiet corner of the farm adjacent to the large parcel of conservation land known as "Rodman's Hollow," and offers unmatched views of the Atlantic Ocean and breathtaking sunsets.

It's unique early-American "gambrel-saltbox" architecture provides an inviting and relaxed atmosphere in a pastoral setting. The upper floor has a spacious open plan including a living and dining area accessed by a spiral staircase. An elevated large deck extends from the upper floor and includes a grill and burner for outdoor dining overlooking the ocean and Rodman's Hollow. Please note however that there is no oven or stove indoors. There are four bedrooms with fans on the lower floor, and three of the bedrooms have patio access. Two bedrooms have queen beds, one bedroom has an antique full bed, and a smaller fourth bedroom has a twin bed. There are two full baths, one downstairs with a clawfoot slipper tub, and one walk-in shower upstairs. Next to the Saltbox, there is also a detached outdoor shower with a sweeping view of the ocean and surroundings. Owners live on the property full-time year-round. From time to time, guests may see the owners at work on the farm including, but not limited to, beekeeping, planting, watering, mowing, weeding, pruning, spraying and harvesting, as well as general maintenance and grounds-keeping. The owners make every effort to keep noise and intrusions to a minimum.
