In a quiet forest area about 1.5 km west of Escosse, the sustainably managed campsite Chalets & Camping Villa Mayari welcomes nature-loving camping fans. It is located in the southern French region of Ariège in the northern foothills of the Pyrenees. The resort offers child-friendly facilities such as a playground and an outdoor swimming pool. In the vicinity of Escosse there are numerous activities and excursion destinations. In the nearby Ariège river travelers can go kayaking and fishing trips among other things. Around 6 km south of Madière is the mini golf course Le Jardin des Sens. Directly in Escosse there is a riding stable. Those who want to discover the natural wonders of Ariège, visit e.g. the underground river of Labouiche. This flows emerald green brightly through a kilometer-long cave system.
