TERMS & CONDITIONS: 1. Centennial Campground operates from May 1st through September 30th with an attendant. It may be open before or after those dates if the camper is self-contained and weather permits. 2. Check-in time is from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. – all campers must check in prior to parking in a campsite. Late arrivals may be accommodated if the Campground Attendant is contacted before arrival. Early check-ins are not permitted. 3. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Late checkouts may be subject to fees. 4. The Village of New Denver and the Campground Attendant are not responsible for lost or stolen items. 5. Camping is only permitted in designated sites. Overflow sites may be designated in writing by a Municipal Officer or the Mayor as needed. 6. Quiet time is between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Please remember, even quiet conversations can carry through the park. 7. Generators may only be operated between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m., and between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Generators cannot be left running unattended. 8. Fires are only permitted in designated fire pits. Fires are not permitted on the beach, except in designated locations. During fire bans, propane pits are allowed on a low flame unless otherwise stated by the New Denver Fire Department. 9. All guests are required to avoid attracting wild animals to the campground. Do not leave any animal attractants (anything with a scent) unattended on your site / in your tent when you leave or go to bed. Pack everything into your vehicle or our food caches. Wildlife attractants include, but are not limited to: food, garbage, coolers, empty coolers, BBQs, bins, dirty stoves, dirty dishes, cans, empty cans or bottles, soap, and toiletries. Dirty campsites will be cleaned by our staff and will result in a cleaning fee being charged to the credit card on file for the site’s booking. 10. Scavenging and cutting trees for firewood is prohibited. 11. All pets must be leashed or tethered at all times while in Centennial Campground and Centennial Park. Pet owners are responsible for collecting and disposing of waste from their animals. 12. High-volume music and unnecessary noise are not allowed at any time. 13. Vehicle and RV washing is not permitted in the campground. Please utilize our local car wash. 14. There is no Wi-Fi available or provided to guests. 15. Site occupancy rates are set in the Village’s current Fees and Charges Bylaw. 16. Reservations open annually in January. 17. The third-party online reservation system designated by the Village shall be the only mechanism for obtaining a reservation at Centennial Campground. Any sub-letting or re-selling of a reserved site will not be permitted. Rebooking must be completed through the online reservation system following cancellation. 18. Reservations are required for all sites. 19. Sites are booked based on site type. An additional fee will allow you to reserve a specific site. 20. Cyclist spots can be booked 48 hours in advance and are for a single night and small tents. 21. Booking fees for online reservations will apply and are non-refundable. 22. All site occupancy charges must be paid in full at the time of booking. 23. Reservations made before April 1 in a given year must be for a minimum of three nights, except for sites #9-13, which have no minimum stay requirement. 24. There is a maximum stay of 14 days. Longer stays may be allowed by the Campground Host, on a day-to-day basis, only if vacancies exist. 25. Reservation changes may result in additional fees or non-availability. Site occupancy fees will be refunded up to two weeks before arrival. No refunds will be issued within two weeks of the arrival date unless a provincially mandated travel ban that specifically prevents travel to New Denver or an evacuation order or alert is in effect for New Denver. 26. Reservations for campsites will no longer be held or honoured if the party(s) have not arrived by 11:00 a.m. the next day after the expected arrival, if arrangements have not been made with the site host. Reserved campsites will be released with no refund. 27. We expect your site to be left in the same condition as when you arrived. Garbage in the fire pit, spits/cigarettes on the ground, pet waste, and relocated amenities (pit/table) are subject to a site maintenance fee. 28. Group booking requests may be made up until December 31 for a minimum of 4 sites for 3 nights. The only sites considered for group booking are 9-31. Groups will be considered for events such as weddings/reunions. Lakeside sites will not be considered. Group bookings will be processed at our regular rate. 29. Reservations on GarlicFest weekend will be subject to a two night minimum stay. 30. Before occupying a site, all campers must check in with the attendant at Site #6. 31. Only one unit (RV, trailer, or tent) is permitted per site. One additional tent may be accommodated per site for a nightly fee. 32. A site reservation includes up to 5 people in one unit. Additional occupants can be added through your reservation, for an additional fee. 33. All vehicles must be parked in established parking areas or campsites at all times. 34. Parking areas designated “local boat trailer parking” are for day use only. 35. One vehicle per site is included with the reservation. A second vehicle can be added for a nightly fee. No more than 2 vehicles per site. 36. The speed is 10km per hour. 37. Off highway vehicles like ATVs, side by sides, and dirtbikes are not to be operated in Centennial Park or Centennial Campground. 38. Wildlife, including bears, cougars, coyotes and deer, are known to enter the Village. Please advise the Campground Attendant if you see any potentially dangerous wildlife. 39. The Campground Attendant has the authority to cancel your stay and have you removed from the campground if you refuse to follow the rules.
