About this campground
White Oak Boat-In Campground offers a unique camping experience on Laurel River Lake in Daniel Boone National Forest. The campground features 39 first-come, first-served lakeshore campsites, most of which are positioned near the water's edge with boat moorings available. Access is exclusively by boat (approximately one mile south from Marsh Branch Boat Ramp) or via the Cold Rock School Trail #430, a 3-mile hike that begins near the boat ramp. Each campsite is equipped with a tent pad, picnic table, fire ring, and lantern pole. The sites are situated in a wooded setting and spaced far enough apart to provide campers with a sense of privacy and seclusion.
