Carthage City Park

Carthage City Park provides RV camping adjacent to a municipal golf course, with sites accommodating rigs up to 40 feet. The campground spreads around a central picnic pavilion, offering 30-amp electric hookups and water access on gravel pads. Tall trees provide some shade, though sites lack visual barriers between neighbors or from the golf course parking area. Campers share the space with golfers during daytime hours, while evenings tend toward quiet. The park complex includes a swimming pool, large playground, and disc golf course near the lake. This setup works well for families seeking varied recreational activities within walking distance of their campsite.
