About this campground
The Capricorn Restcamp is located near the Naukluft mountains and is therefore an ideal stopover on the way from Windhoek (225km, 3h) to Sossusvlei (Sesriem 140km, 2h) or from the south to the coast. Just 40km from the entrance to the Naukluft Mountain Park (D 854), the camp is a good starting point or a convenient base for any excursion (walking paths) in this fascinating park. Visit the famous Sossusvlei and Sesriem Canyon. The four bungalows are all equipped with two beds, private shower and toilet, warm water, terrace, barbecue (Braai) and electric lighting. We offer four campsites with shaded net, barbecue (Braai) and Benches/table. Shared toilet and shower house, warm water. From mid-2020, 2 different telescopes will also be available for rent.
