About this campground
Leave your cares and worries behind, along with your clothes. Enjoy the wildlife and quiet countryside as nature intended.The camping area is a small, level, screened, well drained site. We have facilities including two hard standing pitches, four electric hook-ups, a drinking water tap, chemical disposal point, & toilet facilities.Candy Farm welcomes both caravans and tents. We have space for five caravans and several tents on the campsite.You can sunbathe and watch the cows come home, go fishing, visit the local pubs, or go for quiet country walks with no hills to climb, amongst trees and lakes.

Several historic towns are near by.We are situated between Doncaster and Scunthorpe in South Yorkshire, on the border with the East Riding of Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.We have a lot of local supermarkets, restaurants and pubs close by, you can find details of some of these by following this link.We are a Camping and Caravanning Club certified "Hideaway" site & is a members only site, you can join onsite.Naturists are very welcome!DirectionsIf you need more specific directions, please feel free to call on: 01302 770861.Traveling from The A1:1) Turn at Blyth roundabout to Bawtry2) Straight over lights in Bawtry3) Turn right to follow A614 towards Thorne4) Turn right in Finningley village towards Wroot5) Straight over the cross roads (staggered junction) and it is 2 mile to the farmTraveling from The M18 (south) Junction 1:1) Follow the A631 to Bawtry2) Turn left then right to follow A614 towards Thorne3) Turn right in Finningley village towards Wroot4) Straight over the cross roads (staggered junction) and it is 2 mile to the farmTraveling from The M18 (north) Junction 5:1) Leave the M18 and join the M1802) Leave the M180 at J1 (east bound only)3) Follow the A614 towards Bawtry4) Turn left at Blaxton roundabout5) Travel 1/2 mile towards Haxey6) Turn left at the cross roads towards Wroot7) It is 2 mile to farm from the crossroadsTraveling from The Doncaster Dome:1) Follow the A638 towards Bawtry2) Turn left at lights onto the B1396 towards Haxey3) Continue straight on until you cross A614 Roundabout4) Half a mile after the A614 roundabout, turn left at the cross roads towards Wroot5) It is 2 miles to farm from the crossroadsFinding the Farm:The entrance to the farm is on the corner via a bridge over the river Torne which is approximately a quarter mile from Candy Corner Fisheries. We have a small sign on the left of the bridge. Ellerholme farm have a big posh sign on the right of the bridge. Go over the bridge turn left into the farm.
