About this campground
Dogs & horses welcome on this former dairy farm with open space for good citizen dogs to roam on or off-leash, and basic fenced shelter for horses. We do not provide entertainment, but just have extra space we are happy to share with self-contained RV's or campers. Former dairy farm still occupied and worked by family, but with plenty of private space. Panoramic views of the Bitterroot Rockies and the Sapphire mountains. Free to roam everywhere including the pond which is wonderful for bird life. Nearby yard lights do exist, but stargazing still happening. Light traffic down nearby dirt road. Nearest village is 4 miles, with larger town of Hamilton 10 miles, or Missoula 45 miles. The activities Walk, run, birdwatch, stargaze, fish, hike, Other things Lakes, interesting towns, Glacier and Yellowstone National Parks within driving distance.
