About this campground
Campsite Naabtal-Pielenhofen is one of the most beautiful places in Eastern Bavaria. It is located directly on the Naab, surrounded by meadows and forests. The site became a national champion in the competition of exemplary campsites in the countryside and awarded with a silver medal in the federal competition. The approx. 6 hectares large, year-round open campsite is considered particularly family-friendly. Our campsite is a starting point for excursions to the sights of the Danube Valley and the Bavarian Forest very popular.

Trips to the old Roman town of Regensburg, liberation hall near Kelheim, Walhalla in Donaustauf, castle Wolfsegg, Tropfsteinhöhle near Velburg or the Jagdfalkenhof in Riedenburg can be done from here. The five-flow cycle path leads directly past the campsite and invites you to bike tours. The place is conveniently located for canoe tours on the rivers Naab, Vils, Lauterach, Regen, Laaber and Danube. The campsite Naabtal-Pielenhofen offers a varied leisure offer for young and old.
