About this campground
The nature campsite Pappenheim is located in the Altmühltal Nature Park, directly on the banks of the Altmühl. The 1.8-hectare complex is divided into 20 permanent pitches and 80 tourist pitches and is open from 1 April to the end of October. In the sanitary building there are 16 toilets, 16 wash basins and 8 shower cubicles. Costs for showers and hot water are included in the overnight price. There is a washing machine available to guests. For the physical well-being of the bread service and the beverage bar. Playground, bicycle rental and lounge complete the offer. Bringing animals is allowed.

Swimming is possible both in the natural river pool on the square and in the - 10 minutes walk - outdoor swimming pool. The old town of Pappenheim is within a 5-minute walk, the castle Pappenheim within a 10-minute walk. In the vicinity there are interesting excursion destinations, such as Solnhofen with its fossil collection (5 km), the thermal bath in Treuchtlingen (7 km) or the cathedral town of Eichstätt (20 km).
