About this campground
Since 01.10.2014 a young, motivated team is waiting for you!!! Please pay attention to the actions on our website!!! The campsite Auensee in Joditz, which is open twelve months a year, is on the recommendation list of the DCC. It is located in the Saaletal on the edge of the Frankenwald directly on the banks of the lake of the same name. 150 permanent and 50 tourist pitches are distributed over the grounds, while a separate area near the lakeside is reserved for tent guests. The main building houses the showers, toilets and a laundry room. Also, there is a small lounge.

In the leisure time the lake plays an important role: swimmers and hose boaters start at one of three bathing piers and can make a stopover on a small island. Back on the shore, invite a table tennis table, a football pitch as well as a beach volleyball field for further sporting activity. There is also a playground and a barbecue house.
