About this campground
On the Kahler Seenplatte there is one of the largest campsites in Bavaria. On the 25-hectare bathing lake there are more than 900 pitches for permanent, long-term and tourist campers. The complex with its 1.5-kilometre-long sandy beach offers plenty of leisure opportunities. There is a water park, a natural paddling pool, a playground and a large trampoline. Sports guests can play table tennis or basketball; there is also a boules court, a bowling alley and a mini golf course. A total of five sanitary facilities are located on the site. For hot showers a shower card is required. Washing machine and tumble dryer are available, as well as sinks.

For campers there is a supply and disposal system available. For the physical well-being is provided in the restaurant Seeterrasse. In addition, there is a kiosk and a beer garden. The prices for overnight stays are based on the number of persons, the duration of the stay and the type of the camping. For example, for cyclists or hikers with a small tent, a separate low-cost campsite is offered.
