About this campground
The Rußweiher campsite, located just outside Eschenbach on the northern shore of the Kleiner Rußweiher in the middle of the gentle Oberpfälzer hill landscape, is the ideal starting point for excursions and hikes into the surrounding area, for example to the monastery Speinshart or to the basalt cone Rauher Kulm. In total, there are 153 pitches on the 2.5-hectare area, which have a electricity and water connection with a size of at least 80 square meters as well as a sewage disposal. Young people can also use a tent meadow. In the main building are not only the sanitary facilities including a washing machine, but also a kiosk and a small snack bar.

The nearest grocery store is about one kilometer away from the campsite. In the leisure time the Rußweiher plays an important role: it invites you to fish almost all year round. In addition, rental boats are available and even small children can swim safely on the flat, sandy shore. Not least, the campsite awaits with a playground and a lounge with billiard table.
