ProfileWelcome to our idyllic campsite in the heart of the beautiful Thuringian Forest! Here, you will find everything a camper's heart desires: 15 spacious pitches for caravans and motorhomes, as well as plenty of space for tents – all with …electricity. A central drinking water station and a dishwashing area provide additional comfort. If you're looking for a long-term stay, we also offer pitches for permanent camping – perfect for those who appreciate good company and friendly neighbors! Our cozy bungalow village awaits you with 20 well-furnished and comfortable bungalows. Built on terraces on the hillside, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding nature and forest.

Right outside the door, your adventure begins: Hiking in the Thuringian Forest, exploring the Vessertal Biosphere Reserve – no roads to cross, just pure nature! Observe wildlife, breathe in the fresh forest air, and find ultimate relaxation. For a refreshing summer cool-down, the Waldbad Erlau outdoor pool is just a stone’s throw away. A great place to swim, chill, and have fun! Our bungalows offer modern comforts: a private bathroom with a shower and toilet, a TV (some with cable), and a covered terrace. A fully equipped kitchen or cooking facilities make self-catering easy. Depending on the size, the bungalows accommodate 2 to 6 people and feature 1 to 3 bedrooms, each with two sleeping places. We are also open in winter! Enjoy the fairytale snowy landscape, with numerous winter sports opportunities just a short drive away. Our cozy restaurant serves delicious, simple dishes à la carte. Fresh bread rolls or a tasty breakfast are available upon pre-order. Whether hiking on the Rennsteig, cycling, motorcycle tours, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, or winter sports in Oberhof – including the Biathlon World Cup and sled dog races – you'll find countless leisure activities!
