About this campground
Welcome to pure family camping with an adventurous flair at Campingplatz Bertingen! If the sound of children's laughter bothers you, let us know. We'll prepare your departure bill. This has been our philosophy for over 25 years. Our campsite is quietly located on the edge of Bertingen forest, in the middle of the Mittelelbe Biosphere Reserve. The Elbe Cycle Path is just 700m away, perfect for exploration tours. You can arrive with your caravan, motorhome, or your own tent. We have the perfect spot for every camper, whether it's by the Silver Lake or a bit away from our main camping meadow. The meadows are not parceled and offer shady, semi-shady, and sunny areas.

Dogs are part of the family, so they're welcome too. Alternatively, you can rent a traditional Indian teepee tent with its own campfire in the middle - you can't get more adventurous than that. If the tent is too airy for you, you can opt for the slightly more comfortable wooden teepees or even a log house. The overnight price includes the use of our facilities: natural swimming pond, Wi-Fi (everywhere on the site), archery, axe throwing, bocce, football and volleyball, badminton, table tennis (bring your own rackets and balls), gold panning, wood collecting in the nearby forest, several campfire sites (don't forget the marshmallows), corn maze (when grown), paddle boat, fishing in the Silver Lake (bring your own fishing rod), bouncy castle, and also the supply and disposal. For a small fee, you can ride on the Fire Chair (our trike) and the Wooden Buffalo (a converted Trabbi). Our on-site restaurant Zum Indianer offers daily breakfast and bread roll service, as well as lunch and dinner menus. We cook with fresh products and a lot of passion. Specialties include BISON and Argentine beef steaks, homemade burgers, and BBQ. Vegetarian dishes and the popular currywurst with fries are also on the menu.
