About this campground
Small but fine is the motto for our family-run campsite, Camping Nordstrand Platz Margarethenruh. Located in the heart of Süderhafen, protected from the wind behind the sea dike in the Nordfriesisches Wattenmeer nature park, we offer gravel pitches for motorhomes and green spaces for caravans. Our site is well-equipped for comfort. Essential groceries, bakeries, confectioners, breakfast, lunch, snack bars, restaurants, bus stops, swimming spots, and sailing harbours are all within close proximity (50-150m).

Activities such as mudflat hiking on foot or by horse and cart in the Wattenmeer National Park, cycling tours, boat trips to the seal banks and to the Halligen and islands, surfing, horse riding, tennis, golf and much more are available for relaxation. Our clean, healthy, iodine-rich fresh North Sea air is worth mentioning. We are open from Easter to 31st October and over New Year with a large supporting programme and a cold-warm buffet. On 21st February, we celebrate the festival of the Friesem by the fire with a hearty Grühnkohlessen.
