About this campground
Camping Matapédia OPEN from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Located on river front at junction of world prestigious Restigouche and Matapedia Rivers. Camping Matapedia is a small operation with 7 full services mega large stalls, 30AMP, free WIFI, Water, Sewage, laundry room $5.00 (have your own detergent). RAINY or HOT SUNNY DAY with a tent, not a problem, we can accommodate you under a large roof 100% protected from rain or sun. We have two Mobile Homes to rent, (R N B) one has two bedrooms, one has one bedroom, both have all the amnesties one would want, located next to the swimming-pool and laundry-room. One has four beds and can accommodate a family of six very comfortably.

All available within walking distance: propane, diesel fuel, RV and auto repair, auto parts, ATM machine, grocery with an excellent meat counter and a pharmacy. We are located right on the world longest hiking trail, the 4200 miles long International Appalachian Trail. KAYAK and CANOE rental: 5 minutes walk from campground, offer rental of kayaks and canoes, also bus transportation up river, either for paddling down the Matapedia or for paddling down the Restigouche, at the end of the journey the landing spot is conveniently located right in front of Camping Matapedia.
