How far from the river is Camping Kirchzarten?

A TV room, children’s’ room and a youth lounge with tuck shop and computer games in the communal buildings provide entertainment for rainy days. If necessary for groups these three rooms can be opened up to create one large room. 8 bathrooms with sink, shower and WC are also available for hire, for privacy and comfort. Every sanitary building is also equipped with facilities for our guests with disabilities. For our young guests there is a separate, child-friendly wash room with sinks, showers and toilets. Our young guests will find space to play and run riot on our generously-sized playground. The team from the site shop offer you fresh bread and bakery products daily, various camping articles and a range of goods similar to those found in a small supermarket. The campsite shop is open for you from Easter until October. Fully-equipped rental caravans, a holiday apartment and a holiday studio are available for guests without their own camping equipment. The modern Kirchzarten open air swimming pool “Dreisambad“ is directly next to the campsite. The entrance fee is included in the nightly rate for our guests. The heated open air complex with pools, rapids, diving boards, wide waterslide and a large sunbathing and sport grassland is open from mid-May until mid-September. For the children there is also a playground and paddling pool. The Kirchzarten campsite is located on the southern outskirts of Kirchzarten, directly at the gates of the Breisgau metropolis, Freiburg, in the centre of the beautiful Dreisam valley. The town centre, with a small pedestrian area and shops, is only 5 minutes walk away. It is also only 10-15minutes walk to the train station. Surrounded by the Schauinsland, Feldberg and Kandel the campsite is an ideal location to start excursions, walks and bike rides. Explore the charming and varied natural landscape throughout your holiday. The Kirchzarten campsite and the Black Forest are also worth a visit in winter. Countryside covered with snow for winter walks, cross-country skiing tracks and ski slopes can be found in close proximity to the campsite.
