About this campground
Le Pelou is situated on a hill with a beautiful panoramic view over the Vézère valley, and is surrounded by famous prehistoric sites. This two-star campsite in Dordogne-Périgord Noir is set in a preserved natural setting next to the farm and its animals, far from the main roads for a relaxing family holiday. Young and old alike can enjoy its outdoor swimming pool. The campsite favours the peace and quiet of its guests, which is why there are few and occasional activities. Petanque competitions, paella evenings, Miss Pelou elections, donkey or mare rides... something to delight the whole family! At Ferme du Pelou, young and old alike will be amazed to discover the farm animals: geese, goats, horses... The campsite also offers drinks and regional dishes to take away. In July/August, you can enjoy the baker's every morning, the vegetable seller 3x/week, and the weekly pizza truck.
