Camping De Kleine Wielen is a delightful family-friendly campsite located in the heart of Friesland. Nestled in the nature park De Groene Ster, it offers an ideal location to explore Friesland. The city of Leeuwarden is just 5 kilometers away and is easily accessible by bus. The campsite itself is brimming with activities. In the summer, there's an extensive recreation program. Food and drinks are readily available in our cozy pavilion. The campsite is suitable for all ages, with plenty of water fun, various playgrounds, and an entertaining program for children. Located approximately 7.5 km from Leeuwarden, the campsite is surrounded by greenery and offers an open view of the water.

The camping pitches are located on a separate island, adding to its unique charm. Children can enjoy the paddling pools by the water, play equipment on the sandy beach, and various playing fields around the campsite. In July and August, the entertainment team organizes various activities. The campsite's location on the inland lake 'Lytse Wielen' offers opportunities for boating, canoeing, carp fishing, and windsurfing. The wooded landscape is perfect for hiking and cycling trips, with numerous trails leading to the most beautiful spots in Leeuwarden.
