About this campground
Camping am Berg is a countryside campsite in a hilly area. It's near the Dutch border, west of Lower Saxony, just outside the quaint town of Bad Bentheim. A forest path from the campsite leads to this historic town. The area is rich with cycling routes and walking paths, including a dog-friendly route through Glidehauser Venn nature reserve. Upon arrival, the Dutch owners will greet you. They've created a peaceful and quiet environment at Camping am Berg. Note, there's no play equipment for kids. Your caravan or camper will have ample space in the fields or narrow streets. For shade, choose the flat part of the campsite with trees. The terraced section has less shade.

There are specific sites for tent campers. The grass is well-maintained and all paths and roads are well-lit. On weekends, the campsite restaurant offers snacks and drinks. Fresh rolls are available daily. A bike-bus runs between Bad Bentheim and Emlichheim. It's a good option if you want a different starting point. The service includes a trailer for your bike.
