About this campground
대천용두캠핑장은 충남 보령시 웅천읍에 자리했다. 보령시청을 기점으로 15Km가량 떨어졌다. 자동차를 타고 충서로, 월전로, 열린바다로를 차례로 거치면 닿는다. 도착까지 걸리는 시간은 25분 안팎이다. 캠핑장은 용두해수욕장 인근 고지대에 위치했다. 이 덕분에 발아래로 내려다 보는 풍경이 가히 압권이다. 망망대해가 눈앞에 펼쳐지니 멍하니 바라보고 있노라면 자연스레 기분이 좋아진다. 그래서일까. MBC 예능 프로그램 ‘나 혼자 산다’의 촬영지로도 유명하다. 캠핑장에는 자동차야영장 12면을 마련했다. 바닥은 모두 파쇄석으로 이뤄졌으며, 가로 4m 세로 6m 5면, 정해진 규격이 없는 사이트가 7면이다. 화장실과 샤워실을 남녀를 구분해 총 2개소며, 개수대는 1개소다. 개인 카라반과 트레일러 동반 입장도 가능하다. 캠핑장 입구에는 여러 음료를 파는 카페가 있다.
