About this campground
Seokyangmaeul Jupo Camping Ground is located where you can overlook the wide-open Hampyeong Bay, and it also operates a pension. It has a scale of 5,700 pyeong (approx. 18,840 sq m) and consists of general campsites and individual caravan sites, all with decks. It also has ample auxiliary facilities such as a children's playground, foot volleyball court, barbecue area, and seminar room. You can enjoy the red sun and sea views from all sites, and camp while breathing fresh air nestled in a low mountain range. This place is operated by a cooperative formed by village residents, with a management office in the village multi-purpose center and the second floor operating as a pension.

There are attractions very close by; Jupo Hanok Village, right next to Seokyangmaeul, is composed of quaint traditional Korean houses. It's also nice to come via the hill and pavilion path connected from the campsite, and the refreshing feeling of walking along the seaside road is indescribable. Other nearby tourist attractions include Hampyeong Seajim (sea bath), Hampyeong Expo Park, Dolmeori Beach, Ilgang Kim Cheol Teacher Memorial Hall, and Golden Bat Ecological Park.
