About this campground
The camp is located at 1050 m above sea level, above the fog limit, in the municipality of Alpthal near Einsiedeln. In the middle of the forest, in wild nature, directly at the Vogelwaldbach and the hiking trail Alpthal-Haggenegg. A true paradise for nature lovers. The camp has a fire pit with grilled grotto and wooden huts, a small wooden warehouse (1 box) is provided free of charge, a compost toilet and 10 litres of fresh drinking water on request. The stream is directly accessible from the camp and invites you to splash and cool down. The hiking and bike route Alpthal-Rothenthurm is 150 m away from the camp, the valley station Brunni-Holzegg and the hiking region Myth Region 4.5 km.

The bus station is reachable in 5 min. by foot. The access to the camp leads via a slightly ascending, very rocky natural road. Therefore the place is only suitable for vehicles running off the ground. Bookings with over 4 persons and more than 1 vehicle are not accepted.
