Welcome!Camp Petosega is a treasured family campground on the shores of Pickerel Lake in Emmet County, Michigan. With 90 campsites, four rustic sites, and seven rental cabins, your perfect spot awaits at this wooded, peaceful campground situated on 300 forested acres. Petosega is a favorite day-use park that is always free! Miles of wooded trails and the peaceful Berry Creek meander through this 300-acre Emmet County park property. A sandy beach makes for a perfect daytime get-away. BOOK ONLINE Who’s ready to do some camping? Now taking summer camping reservations! Camp Petosega takes reservations 365 days away from the anticipated check in date. Book your site now! Once you begin a reservation, you will have 20 minutes to complete the process. During that time, the system blocks the campsite, cabin, or another rental facility you have chosen so that no one else can reserve it. If registration is not completed within 20 minutes, the system times out, and your choices are automatically canceled, making those sites available again. Full payment is required when reserving a site online. As has been the policy in previous years, there is an additional booking fee and a credit card transaction fee based on the amount of your purchase. After you have completed your reservation and payment, you will receive a confirmation email with all the details. If you have any questions regarding payments, please contact the park directly. We recommend using a computer to make the reservation. Most customers have reported they could not complete the reservation process using a cellphone. Camp Petosega’s camping season runs from early May through Mid-October. Our staff is greatly reduced after Labor Day, and the hours of operation for the registration office and gift shop may vary. Please send all questions to [email protected] and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible. BOOK A CAMPSITE Online reservations are being accepted now. Camp Petosega is a year-round RV park; however the campground waterlines are drained and winterized from mid-October until ~May 1st. Be sure to lock in your dates for your favorite campsite, see you this summer! BOOK ONLINE GIFT SHOP During the summer season, Camp Petosega has a small gift shop inside the registration office at the camp’s entrance. You will find camp merchandise like t-shirts, hats and coffee mugs as well as some treats like candy, ice cream and beverages, firewood and other small items. The gift shop and registration office hours of operation vary due to limited staff at various times. We apologize for any inconvenience.
