About this campground
The camp Mattli-Ahorn is located at 1025m above sea level, above the fog limit, in the municipality of Alpthal near Einsiedeln, directly on the biker route Alpthal-Rothenthurm and on the hiking trail Alpthal-Haggenegg The idyllic place under an old, high maple offers a cozy fireplace with wooden huts, a small wooden warehouse (1 box) is available free of charge, a table with benches, a compost toilet and 10 liters of fresh drinking water on request. The access and the parking lot are secured with gravel and flat. Along the camp a small stream flows. The slightly larger bird forest stream is 50m from the camp and invites you to splash and cool down in summer.

The valley station Brunni-Holzgegg and the hiking and biking area of the myth region is 4.5 km away from the camp. The bus stop can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. Bookings with more than 4 people and more than 1 vehicle are not accepted.
