About this campground
Camp Jezero Kočevsko is situated near Lake Kočevje, on the edge of Kočevje town. It covers an area of 3500m2 and can accommodate up to 100 campers, making it a smaller yet quality campsite in Slovenia. The campsite has 10 lots for motor homes and trailers, and 9 lots for tents. All lots are equipped with electricity. The layout may vary depending on the needs of the campers. In addition to the lots, the campsite features 5 wooden "glamping" cottages that can house 4 people each. These cottages are designed to resemble the simple forest huts once used by workers in the Kočevsko forest. The campsite's surroundings are styled to match the lakeside landscape, blending with the local forests.

As such, a variety of plants, including birch and maple trees, as well as herbs and fruit shrubs, can be found around the cottages. A modern service facility, established in 2016, is available on the campsite. It includes toilets, laundry and drying facilities, and a kitchen with both indoor and outdoor dining areas. For younger visitors, the campsite offers a large playground made from natural materials and a grassy area for ball games. The campsite's location near the lake and its central position make it an ideal base for nature excursions or town visits. The campsite is also family-friendly, with a natural-material playground and a grassy play area.
