Lumsden Bridge Campground is located on a low elevation pine and oak forested site along the Tuolumne Wild & Scenic River in Stanislaus National Forest. The campground sits within the Tuolumne-Lumsden Recreation Area, approximately one mile from South Fork Campground and two miles from Lumsden Campground. The area was affected by the Rim Fire, and visitors should exercise caution as potential hazards include loose and falling rocks, flash floods, and debris flows. Trees weakened by fire damage and drought may fall at any time. The campground offers 9 first-come, first-served sites, each equipped with a picnic table and campfire pit with grill.

Vault toilets are available, but there is no potable water. Untreated water can be obtained from the river when flowing and must be treated before drinking. The Tuolumne River provides opportunities for fishing, rafting, and other water activities. Access is via Lumsden Road (Forest Route 1N01), a narrow mountain road that is not suitable for RVs or trailers. Maximum occupancy is 6 people per site with a 14-day stay limit.
