You will find Buitencentrum Hessenheem in Markelo, one of the oldest villages in Twente. This place borders the Salland region and Gelderse Achterhoek. Go cycling or hiking in the immediate surroundings or choose a sporty or cultural excursion. For example, you can canoe in the region or visit the art town of Diepenheim. There is also a municipal swimming pool in Markelo, both outdoor and indoor. Across the bungalow park are gravel tennis courts, where you can play a game. It is also possible to play tennis indoors.
