Brush Creek Dispersed Camping is a year-round dispersed camping area situated at the confluence of Brush Creek and the Upper Kern River in Sequoia National Forest. Located approximately 15 miles north of Kernville along the west side of the road, this site offers a primitive camping experience with vault toilets and trash bins available during summer months. The area is designated for dispersed camping under the North Fork Kern Wild and Scenic River camping regulations, which restrict camping to specific designated areas to protect natural resources.

Campers must stay at least 50 feet from Brush Creek's edge between the river intersection and 0.5 miles east along both branches, and at least 25 feet from water due to Wild and Scenic designation requirements. This location is popular for fishing where Brush Creek meets the Upper Kern River. Free campfire permits are required year-round for campfires, barbecues, and camp stoves, though fires may be prohibited during fire restrictions. No drinking water is available, so campers must bring their own or have filtration systems. Glass containers are prohibited throughout the Kern River Ranger District.
