About this campground
Brow Farm Campsite located in Ratlinghope, west of the Longmynd is a diverse and surprising area of outstanding natural beauty, ever changing and thrilling to explore.The campsite will take many people back to their childhood, sinking ankle deep into old wildflower meadows, which our Grandparents took for granted.Blue bells, cowslips, angelica, spotted orchids, buttercups, pink, red and white clovers, blooms that are so rare and precious nowadays can still be seen in this unspoilt wildflower meadow.The owner, John Sankey wants to preserve the old meadows and has planted hundreds of trees to encourage the wildlife and provide shade for the future.

Birds are abundant, in fact, it is a bird watchers paradise! Owls can be heard and seen at night.Chemicals and artificial fertilizers are not used on Brow Farm Campsite. The wild flower meadow is cut for hay after the flowers have seeded in late July.The site is perfectly situated between the Longmynd and the Stiperstones hills, and has the excellent Bridges pub a short stroll down the road.The Shropshire Hills Shuttle Bus passes the campsite every hour, visit: http://www.shropshirehillsaonb.co.uk for more information.The Shropshire Way runs alongside the farm.Campers are welcome to camp anywhere they choose on the 12 acre campsite, allowing you to find the perfect pitch!Motor Homes and Caravans are welcome.We hope you enjoy it too!Due to the size of the site no booking is required.
