About this campground
A nice bush camp near the Bromus Dam. This freshwater dam which was constructed in 1925/26, is a magnificent example of early workmanship. The dam was built by the Railways to ensure a reliable supply of water for the early steam trains that plied between Coolgardie and Esperance. Why not take a picnic lunch and enjoy a day exploring the dam and following the pipeline on foot up to the tank. This is a free camp site, so If you are staying we encourage you to help keep it clean, and please visit and support the nearest town or village to this site. We are still in the process of obtaining more information about this site.
