Upstairs in the loft we have a queen bed and a single bed for the kids or additional guests. As the day unfolds, gather around the fire pit and share stories, roast marshmallows, and create lasting memories. Our pond is full of fish and we provide poles and tackle for the kids(or adults). The pond is all catch and release. When you're ready to explore, Hochatown offers a myriad of activities and attractions. Head to the nearby Broken Bow Lake for a day of boating, fishing, or swimming in crystal-clear waters. The surrounding Beavers Bend State Park offers hiking and biking trails, where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and discover hidden gems along the way. For adventure seekers, Hochatown is home to zipline tours, horseback riding, and off-road ATV trails, providing endless thrills and excitement. Our vision for the Dome is a unique family or couples retreat. The dome has over 720 sq feet of space with 1/3 of the exterior boasting a giant picture window that looks out over our private pond. Ensure the perfect temperature with a mini-split system controlling both heat and AC. There is a full kitchen with an oven, stovetop, sink, and refrigerator/freezer. Make your morning coffee with the Keurig coffee machine(coffee provided) . Other conveniences include a microwave, shower with a rain feature, luxury linens, plush blankets, and essential toiletries. Step outside and find a propane grill to barbeque a tasty meal, a firepit that is perfect for stargazing and roasting S'mores (firewood not provided), and a hot tub that you'll find ideal for relaxing and unwinding after a day of hiking or enjoying the numerous activities nearby. There is Wi-Fi and a TV in the living room and outside on the covered patio. What started 15 years ago with a fishing trip to Beavers Bend State Park has turned into the most enjoyable part of doing life with family and friends. My wife, Dawn and grown kids, Kailey and Austin have enjoyed countless adventures over the years in Southeastern Oklahoma as we escape Dallas/Fort Worth to spend time in our Happy Place. We love to host couples and families at our properties and always strive to ensure a unique stay with lasting memories. Our favorite activities are hiking, fishing, boating and of course just relaxing in nature. We privately manage this cabin and pride ourselves on being available to our guests. You will have both our cell phone numbers and are able to text with any questions. We also provide a detailed Online Guidebook prior to your stay with all the details you'll need to know on the home as well as a local area resource guide on things to do. We hope that whether you're coming up for a romantic getaway, a girls' trip or a fun vacation with your family, we can make your experience as fun and memorable as possible! We strive to provide unique experiences for our guests. This Dome experience is one of a kind and you won't find anything like it in Oklahoma! Broken Bow/Hochatown is a great choice to escape the hustle-bustle of your busy life at home. It's driving distance from many large towns. 2.5 - 3 hours from the Dallas area. 3.5 hours from Ft. Worth area. 4 hours from OKC. 3.5 hours from Tulsa 2.5 hours from Shreveport 3 hours from Little Rock There is so much to do in Hochatown (aka Broken Bow)! Broken Bow lake is so much fun for boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming, or just catching some sun. Go tubing down Mountain Fork river, or learn to fly fish! Take a hike in Beavers Bend State Park. Visit one of the numerous local wineries. Eat at one of the many delicious restaurants! Or stay in and enjoy the plentiful amenities!
