About this campground
Set in an idyllic, secluded, rural location with stunning scenery we have space for up to 5 motorhomes on hard pitches, and 10 tents on grass. Loch Ness is 10 miles away; Inverness, 12 miles; Cairngorm National Park, 30 minutes; RSPB reserve at Loch Ruthven, 2 miles; National Trust for Scotland Culloden Battlefield, 15 miles; Dolphin cruises, 12 miles. The area is good for walking, fishing, climbing, cycling.Facilities include water, electric hook-up for 2 vans and chemical toilet disposal point. There is a bus stop adjacent to site.We are situated 7 miles (it may seem longer) from A9 at Daviot - allow 15 minutes - and about 20 miles from A82 at Fort Augustus - allow 50 mins. It is a very scenic drive - particularly from Fort Augustus -but some of the road is single track.Parking is hard and flat with views of the surrounding hills including Stac Gorm and Brin Rock.
