About this campground

Just 2 miles West of Keswick you will find Scotgates Woodland campsite situated in the Lake District village of Braithwaite (near Keswick). The lovely woodland setting offers relaxed camping in a with superb views of the Lake Districts surrounding fells. Keswick's position close to the centre of the Lake District National Park gives you easy access to scores of attractions, historic houses, beautiful gardens and endless outdoor activities for all ages and abilities. Locally you can take a cruise on Derwentwater, or row yourself around the beautiful islands on the lake.

The Theatre by the Lake has received fabulous reviews and provides a wide and varied choice of productions as well as a gallery.Fun for all the family can be found amongst the waves at Keswick Spa Leisure Pool, an indoor pool with wave machine and exciting water slide.The Lakes are often referred to as being a walkers paradise, and you couldn't have a better starting point than our Woodland Campsite at Braithwaite Bridges.
