About this campground
Quiet and peaceful location on the outskirts of Ramona in the middle of San Diego wine country. Close to over 45 boutique wineries, many hiking trails including Mt. Woodson and the infamous Potato Chip Rock. 40-60 minutes away from everything San Diego has to offer (beaches, Wild Animal Park, downtown, Balboa Park, etc.). We live on over 20 acres and border protected open space. As such wildlife encounters are common including coyotes, snakes, deer, bobcat, and mountain lion. We strongly recommend to always wear shoes to avoid being bitten by stepping on a random spider, scorpion, or rattle snake. Welcome to run generators but quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. No firepits allowed.

Very dark, must arrive prior to sunset. Room to park any size rig but driveway is very steep and has a 90 degree turn into the parking area. A 27’ Airstream with 3” lift clears the bumper by approx. 1”. Longer vehicles or those with low ground clearance may not fit.
