About this campground

We own ~60 acres on Northern Michigan’s beautiful Old Mission Peninsula surrounded by the clear blue waters of Lake Michigan. Old Mission Peninsula has everything you could ever want from the agricultural life (farms, orchards and vineyards) to wineries, restaurants and outdoor recreation. If town is more your thing or you’re looking to check out more of the areas offerings you can take a short 8 mile drive into downtown Traverse City which has a diverse mix of delicious restaurants, breweries, beaches, and shops. From there you can explore all of Northwest Michigan’s lake front towns - Sutton’s Bay, Leland, Frankfurt, Northport, Glen Arbor, Elk Rapids and many more.

———Some Info About Your Stay Upon Arrival: As you enter our drive (we do live down a gravel road) you’ll notice a large willow tree encircled by our driveway. Please park in the turnaround (encircles a large willow tree) or gravel pad (to the south of the willow tree). I’ve included some photos in the description that will help give you an idea of the space. The pavement around the willow tree is sloped, so if you’re not able to level your camper then the best options are the gravel/two track space. There is slightly less slope on the S/SW side of the paved circle that is comfortable as well. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE DOWN THE TWO TRACK. Water is available from the spigot on the south side of the turnaround. There is NO POWER and NO GENERATORS allowed at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. About us: We have 3 young kids and a few animals that roam the property (two dogs – Brodie and Asher, a handful of chickens and cats. We also have some horses which if they are at the house pasture you are welcome to say, “hi” – understand the fence is electrified and likely hot so don’t touch the wires). We're available by phone if you need anything during your stay.
