About this campground

Wooded 48-acre property with 1-acre seasonal private pond, open space and walking trails. A double kayak, rowboat, floats, SUP are available free to use-at own risk; request children wear a life jacket. You can fish, but there aren’t any in the pond :) thanks to the local heron. Located 10 min. from Interstate 89 north and south, near New Hampshire and Vermont ski areas, gentle local nature hikes are nearby, The White Mountains are to the north and The Green Mountains to the northwest. The parking areas are grass, gravel and dirt- generally flat, fairly level. *secluded parking areas available as well, which requires negotiating a slightly elevated gravel road.

No hook ups No trash facilities No dump station No cigarette smoking Campfires are allowed in the rings provided or your own camping fire pit-unless a no burn drought local order is in effect of course. The property is mostly natural – no outside lighting except solar markers. Head lamps/flashlights needed for the nighttime, lanterns etc. Terrific Star gazing on clear nights. Mid-April through mid-August bug repellent and tick-spray is highly recommended; anti-tick dog collars or other agents highly suggested. Property is natural – wildlife such as bear, bobcats, deer, coyote, and turkeys are known to be around at night. When hiking, common sense precautions should be heeded: bear-bells/spray, whistles, eyes on kids and little dogs, trash/garbage inside at night, etc. The Dartmouth Medical Center/Childrens Hospital is nearby: 20 min. Dartmouth College & Colby Sawyer College are nearby: 15 min grocery store, dunkin, gas, diesel: 10 minutes
