About this campground
2 acres available. located 14 miles south of Placerville in the beautiful wine country. Water and power are available. Gate to enter property is being enlarged. At this time I'm able to drive my 29' Class C through. Grass area for parking. Camp fires allowed in winter and spring. 4x4 highly recommended in winter and spring. Suggested Local Attractions:Placerville "Old Hangtown" is 14 miles north of my property. I'm located in wine country with many wineries in Fairplay and just a miles to Amador's County's Shenandoah Valley offering award winning wineries with summer concerts and flower farms. In early spring my neighbor's Blue Bird Iris Gardens are in full bloom.

Highway 49 is a popular travel with old gold mining towns like Plymouth, Dry Town, Amador City , Sutter Creek and Jackson they're full of shops, wine tasting shops and restaurants. If you choose to continue on Hwy 49 towns like Murphy's and Sonora even Yosemite are further south for a full day adventure. Fairplay is between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe.
