About this campground

Country setting. 10 acre lot with good privacy on very lightly traveled gravel road. There is a semi-hidden pond in my front yard with a lot of plant growth around it. Neighboring lot also has a much larger pond further back. Be aware of these if you have a pet or child that likes to roam. Parking is close to pond. There are lots of frogs in pond. Know that they can get quite noisy at night. You may want to bring your own means of shade, if desired. There is very little available in my yard. Tents are welcome. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon all work well for phone and data.

Suggested Local Attractions: The small local village about 4.5 miles away has grocery, auto parts, hardware, pizza and ice cream parlors, restaurants, pub, lumber yard, laundromat, dollar store, parks, bowling, library, fuel and propane stations (including rec fuel), and motor sports shop. There are several other larger cities with popular attractions within a half hour drive or less. Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Grand Rapids are some of those. Grand Haven is popular for its beach, musical fountain, boardwalk, pier, and Coast Guard Festival. Muskegon is popular for its beaches, piers, museums, drive-in theater, parties in the park, Bike Time, and Irish Festival. Grand Rapids is popular for its museums, breweries, Meijer Gardens, John Ball Zoo, and Art Prize. Lake Michigan is about 15 miles away. There are many other smaller lakes and rivers nearby. The Muskegon River is popular for tubing, canoeing, or kayaking. There are 4 different rental places for that nearby. Muskegon has several RV dealers. Should you require a part, there's a good chance you'll find it locally. In the summer and fall, there are blueberry fields and orchards nearby to pick your own fresh fruit from. Michigan's Adventure, Michigan's largest amusement and water park, is in the area.
