About this campground
I have a large driveway that can accommodate even a bunkhouse. There is not a view of Oologah Lake, but it is literally ~ 1/2 a mile as the crow flies from my property. Oologah, Oklahoma is literally a one horse town. That horse and his side kick, Will Rogers, can be found in the town's single traffic circle, well, at least a statue of them that is. It's a small town with small town charm. It is the birth home or Will Rogers. The house where he was born is not but a few miles to the East. The Will Rogers Museum is in Claremore, Oklahoma found 12.5 miles from my home.

What does Oologah have to offer? They have fishing tornaments, swimming, boating, skiing, hunting, and wild pigs, of which, I have yet to see. There are local merchants that would highly appreciate your browsing and purchasing of their goods. It is also home to a Public Service of Oklahoma (PSO) Power Plant. The railroad is very well used, day and night. I have lived here for almost a year and it has never awakened me. I call it great insulation. Oklahoma is known for tornados, but no worry, there is a safe room that is available on the property. Tulsa center is about 30 miles to the South, offering a wide range of activities and fine eateries. The closest/best urgent care is 12.5 miles to the south. Owasso has two hospitals that are 14.5 miles to the south as well. Oologah does have several excellent restaurants, 2 are within easy walking distance. The light pollution is minimal and makes for some great star gazing in the area. The neighbors are polite and pretty much keep to themselves.
