About this campground
This would be a nice place to park for a few nights to explore the Catskills or if you are passing by on Route 17 and need a place for the night as you travel through. It is in the field next to my house. There is a house across the road. There is also a summer home development behind the property separated by a fence and trees. Sometime in the summer you will hear the happy sounds of children playing outside until about 11:00. It is located about 7 miles out of the village of Monticello. There is a stone fire ring that you are welcome to use responsibly. I can provide you with a bucket of water or 2 to put a fire out when you are done.

Suggested Local Attractions:We are located less than 15 miles from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts where you could visit the museum or attend a concert. World Resorts Casino and the Kartrite Water Park are about 10 miles away. You can canoe or kayak about 10 miles away on a reservoir and possibly see a beautiful eagle. About an hour away you can hike Giant Ledge, Slide Mountain or visit Minnewaska State Park .
