About this campground
Quiet location with fields directly across the street in an unincorporated town with about 16 inhabitants. We are 32 miles from the Okoboji Great Lakes region of northwest Iowa. Spencer, IA is a quick 14 miles east on a nice blacktop. The home is about 120 ft from the blacktop on gravel. We have a gravel driveway with rock. You can be as private or engaged with us as you feel. No need for the obligatory gift. Your friendship and conversation is a gift in itself. NOTE: Our neighbors are bee keepers, so you will see honey bees from time to time. They only keep one hive in town to pollenate our gardens. I have never been stung in the 20 years we have resided here.

I just want to let everyone know in case you are severely allergic. Big rigs come in from 359th St and go through alley. You can park in designated areas on the map. Most rigs park by the pole barn, as the 30 amp service is located there. Camper vans or small rigs can park in the drive, but don't block the garage doors. 30amp service is on the NE corner of the garage and 20 amp is on the NW corner of the garage. Water available if needed on the NE side of the house. Wifi Moriarty is secure. Text or email for password. Suggested Local Attractions: Arnolds Park Amusement Park, Maritime Museum. and Iowa Great lakes (Okoboji), World's Greatest County Fair (Clay County), Vic's Corner Holiday Flea Markets, Yesterdays Memories Museum in Sanborn, IA.
