About this campground
Driveway parking with use of nice backyard or front deck for relaxing. You may bring well behaved leashed dogs. I have neighbors fairly close on each side but none in back or across. The front deck is a great spot to watch the deer in the field across the road. I am on the porch watching them now! Listen to the crickets in the backyard, and the bullfrogs from the neighbor's pond. Not a private campsite, but a relaxing spot to stop on your journey. Suggested Local Attractions:Niagara Falls about 45 minutes away. Lake Ontario 16 miles, 30 mile point lighthouse 16 miles. Six Flags 20 minutes, Erie Canal path 5 minutes. The start of the Niagara wine trail is a few miles away.

Becker's Farm offers winery, brewery, apple and berry picking in season as well as pumpkins and activities for children. City of Lockport has working locks on the Erie canal, a boat tour on canal which includes going through the locks. There is also a zipline across the canal. Some interesting museums depicting the history of the canal, and a cave tour. Iroquois wildlife refuge is just up the road and has hiking trails as well as bodies of water for kayaks and canoes. It is a popular spot for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts
