Boondocking host near Horseshoe Bend, ID

The property sits up on a hill overlooking the Horseshoe Bend valley. Our goal is to be as self-sustaining as possible, and we've made improvements to the land including a garden, orchard, chicken coop, and planted trees. We have free-roaming chickens, two mastiffs, and one kitty. All are friendly—the dogs will probably come check you out, then leave you alone. There’s a great hardware store just around the corner (you can walk there if you'd like). They have a surprisingly good assortment of goods, including fresh eggs from the valley for $5/dozen. The Payette flows close to the property—you can walk down for fishing, swimming, or bridge jumping in the summer. Our town also has a beautiful pond on the north end with a looped road that’s great for walking dogs, jogging, or fishing. If you need anything, just give a holler.
