About this campground

We want to thank all of our guests for helping us reach the Hall of Fame Host Status in under 13 months! We sit half way between Wells and Elko, Nevada just two miles off interstate 80. Our little desert ranch is quiet with spectacular views in all directions with the Ruby and Humboldt Mountain ranges in the background. We are far enough away from the city's light pollution that you can enjoy the starlit sky at night. Our main property is completely fenced and gated 2.5 acres, so if you have a dog that needs to get out and run, feel free to let them loose. We have two full hookup spaces (30 amp) also plenty of Boondocking space available and everything is R.V.

friendly so the spaces with hookups are both pull-thru and there is plenty of room to turn even the largest rigs without backing up or unhooking any toad vehicle. Generators are welcome we just ask that they be turned off by 10p.m. unless medically necessary. In addition, we have dedicated 20amp (120V) circuit also with water. Great for smaller RV's/Vans. If you're hauling horses we have space that you may let your horses out of your trailer for the night and hitch them up. We are a work in progress here and have brought in some playground equipment for travelers with smaller children, a horseshoe pit near the fire ring which now has a two person swing right near it for cozying up to the fire or just relaxing and taking in the views and enjoy the peace & quiet. There is a walking/biking/e-biking path cut on the inside perimeter of our main property fence line. We have a picnic area for your use, a community library (take a book leave a book), and there is free air available to air up your tires. We are pretty handy and have assisted travelers with some truck and trailer issues that needed repair. We can recommend tire shops, mechanic shops and full R.V. repairs and supplies that will do their best to prioritize travelers that are passing through.. Donations are appreciated and placed back into improvements for our traveling guests! :) Elko, NV. offers all the usual grocery stores, restaurants, casinos, as well as a museum. Elko also hosts The annual National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in January and the famous Silver State Stampede Rodeo in July. We are a short 40 minute drive to Angel lake which is an Alpine lake at approx. 8,300' elevation stocked with trout or great for kayaking & paddle boarding.
