About this campground
We have a 1 acre flat lot with a circa 1853 farmhouse. The site is in full sun. The camping spot is next to a creek and the park has a walking trail and playground. Our lot is NOT private, it’s in an active neighborhood with people walking, hanging out and driving on 3 sides of the property. In the evening it is pleasant and mostly quiet. At night there is some truck noise from the highway on the other side of the park. Most annoying are the tractor trailer air brakes (which they are not suppose to be using close to residential area in a 45 mph zone). Major retail shopping and laundry is in Trexlertown. Suggested Local Attractions: You can walk thru the park to a great local diner.

It is called the 'Hometown Diner". Also nearby is 'Premise Maid Candy and Ice Cream', the name kind of says it all. There is almost always a line, outside seating is available and prices are reasonable. We have brewery's and winery's within 3 miles. Dorney Park is a roller coasters dream plus a separate water park. Like Bicycke racing? Just 1 mile down the road is a world class Velodrome or Bicycle racing stadium (Friday night races!). Macungie hosts amazing auto shows (Das Awkt Fescht is the biggest), and there is Bethlehem Musikfest, Kutztown Folk Festival and more. I take guests on the Lehigh County Covered bridge tour (available on the internet). The covered bridges are all within 30 minute drive. The bridges are size, weight limited and meanders thru the countryside, seeing them all takes a few hours.
